Skinfood Red Orange Compact Powder

Hi Ladies! ^^

What do you use to protect your face from Sun?
tinted sunscreen? face milk with SPF? .. or a compact powder you could easily apply wherever you're without affecting your make up?

Mine is Skinfood Red Orange Compact Powder SPF 50 PA +++. Why am i need a compact powder with high SPF number? Simply because you need a minimum amount when using sunscreen, whatever the form is. And for powder, it's 2mg (still trying to get the source, i forgot where i read it). I don't know how to count amount of compact powder i use, so i choose the one with high SPF, thinking of even i'm not using the right amount, higher number of SPF will provide me higher protection with same amount of product i use.

The Packaging.
Very awesome! i was attracted with the design ; skinfood's cupid, the red orange design .. hard to resist. And it's strong.

The Back Side.
Instruction and distinction are written in english but the ingredients is in Korean.

The Cute Puff

It also provided with clear plastic separator for insider product and the puff

i'm sooo sorry for the dirty sponge, but at least it means i use it :D
the sponge is the same with the one in Buckwheat Loose Powder. It's better to use for compact powder because it could take right amount of powder, but in loose powder it's worst. It can't take any product and won't help the product blend to my face. I will write about it later.

The Insider
Well, it comes with a red orange design, but i've used it so the design in the center part is already little bit disappear.

Swatch on My Hand.
It's suppose to be transparant, but in my face (i have neutral-warm undertone) it's kinda white-ish. It's okay if i only use small amount of it, which is definately less than 2mg. But if i use a little bit more, it's disturbing.

The first week, while i'm only using it with skincare, i always got breakout. But if i use it with foundation, it's fine :)

It's eye catching, nice, easy to use and quite cheap (around IDR 170.000 i think) but somehow white-ish and causing breakout.

Repurchase? NO.
i rarely need to use it. I'm not make my face up everyday so i can re-touch my sunscreen using face milk.

Very Small Haul & The Lip Butter

Hi Readers!

Have you hear about the Lip Butter?
It's a famous product from Revlon, and i can't stop my self from getting it ~

I bought 2 Revlon Product this month, a blush and a famous lip butter. Sadly, both are not as good as i think @_@

I will start with the lip butter and write about the blush later ~

.. and before we start, i'll notice you, there's a lot of picture here (*/∇\*)

Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

I always eyeing peach lip color since i mostly use eyeshadow in cool or neutral color , and it's better to use warm lip color to make them balance. I've read some reviews saying it's sheer, shimmery and has low coverage. But .. i'm still buying it .. .____."

What i'm thinking about this product :

  1. has different price, my friend bought it in Jakarta and Surabaya for IDR 75.000 each or get 3 for IDR 200.000 but here, i bought it for IDR 85.000 @_@
  2. Cute! No doubt, it's cute, the insider is so unique ..
  3. Product inside is on 2.5 cm or 1 inch length. Don't ever think that it's full of product, it's not. Good thing because you doesn't need more time to finish it. Bad thing because it's not so cheap thought.
  4. It has shimmer in it, and i dont like wearing shimmer in day time.
  5. Low to medium coverage, as you can see in swatch.
  6. Low staying power T___T
  7. Lovely scent
  8. It's not peach btw. Yes, it has peach tone but the color appear on my lips is not peach. I will update with swatch on my hand picture.
  9. If you work or live in room with air conditioner, please don't use it too much, because it drying your lips! I'm not noticing it since i'm always in outdoor while wearing it until i use it in room, and my lips chapped! I don't know how could it be because i'm rarely got chapped lips, i love water and consume enough water everyday. Oh well .. This point makes me won't repurchase ..
I'm so sorry if i makes you disappointed, but .. Those are what i'm thinking about it .. I'm not stopping using mine, but not for daily use ..

thanks for reading anyway (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Dreaming about Matte with Maybelline

hi Readers :)

i believe you all have your own Holy Grail product, and here's one of mine : Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Sand.

Sadly, Maybelline Indonesia doesn't bring this one in, so i have to order from to get it. It's totally worth to wait, the shade is perfect to me, it does what it promise (a matte finish, doesn't clog pores) and it doesn't break me out. Another best things is the price. I got it for around IDR 85.000, i dont remember exactly but it less than IDR 90.000. :)

The Product

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder Compact, Sand, Medium 0-1

0.32 oz (9 g)

How lovely the compact is!
It has a transparant cover, and when you swirl it, you can find a puff and mirror inside. I heart it! And it also sooo nice to see everyone's face when you use it to touch up in Women's Rest Room, they'll think it's unique!

The coverage is medium, good enough to cover my pores but not my blemishes, i still need a little help from my little miss concealer to do that job. The staying power is good enough, i use it to touch up around 3 hours after the first time i use it. And matte finish is as good as their promise.

Another things to say, puff came with the compact is good enough, i always use it everytime i need. It can get right amount of product and help you to blend the product well.

actualy, it comes in 3 shades : Cream, Beige and Sand. Since i ordered it only, i've just guessing that sand is the one for me, and that's true!
Sand is match for neutral skintone person, especially in warm undertone. When i swatch it using finger, it only shown a little bit, and in my back hand, it almost unshown so i'm not taking picture of it.

This compact powder is good for you if :
You need a matte finish compact powder, in unique packaging and reasonable price.

This compact powder is not for you if :
You don't like to order it online (if you're in indonesia),
You can't decide what shade you have to buy by only seeing it online
You prefer to bring loose powder on the go

thanks a lot for reading

Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink, almost a higlighter.

I used to really-really want a new blush, and decided to bought milani baked blush in dolce pink instead of another color. I dont know, i've looking for swatches and everything, but i'm still decided to choose dolce pink. And yeah, i'm regret.
Why? Because it almost hard to shown in my cheeks. I have neutral to warm undertone, around nc/nw 25 on MAC, i dont know it just me or it's also being the same in another people.

Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink
0.12 oz (3g)

official image :

in-real-life :
It wrapped in plastic covers, which had a "Dolce Pink" written on their side.

The back side.
Yes, mine has some bad spot there. So disappointing. I bought it from an online shop because here in my country, it's the only way to buy milani.

The insider.
Is it look alike the shade they shown in official web?

They also provided a small mirror and mini brush in the package.
I almost never use the mirror, it's too small for me. The brush is not only too small, but also hard to take the product out.

lightly swatched.
Can you see the color in my hand?
I use my finger to swatched it.

hardly swatched.
Still too light in my opinion. I'm personally love a pigmented blush. It's a beautiful shade, if you have a fairer skin, or maybe if you dont have some acne scar on you cheek or you can hide it better than me. But on me, it's feels so wrong. It even made my acne scar looks scarier :(

I've swipe like 3 times in my cheeks and nothing except few glitters appeared. I dont know it because of my neutral-warm skintone or the pigments.

Where to buy?, and so on.

Good Things about It
Mostly on sale, you might get it in some percent discount, or even not, it's still not very pricey.
Easy to travel with
Have brush and mirror
Available in many colors
Transparant packaging, you can see the product inside

Bad Things about It
Hardly show up on my cheeks
The brush & mirror is too small
Cheap packaging

Do You Like It?
i'd love it if it's more pigmented.

Thanks for Reading ^^

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask : Cleaning Your Blackhead Without Pain

Hi Readers! ヽ(∀゜ )人( ゜∀)ノ

I don't know, i'm sooo lazy writing about product i usually use. I just want them to stay in their place so i can reach it whenever i want .. ~( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

One lovely product that i always use every week is Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask. I've finished my first tube, and when i want to open the second one, i was thought, this is the right time to take picture of it .. *lol.

Have you tried it? It's my favorite clay mask. This time, I have 2 clay mask : baviphat strawberry (de)toxifying mask and innisfree jeju volcanic pore clay mask. Yes, i'm such a mask lover!

Like another Innisfree product, Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask got 7-Free formulation: NO artificial perfumes, NO artificial pigments, NO paraben, NO benzophenone, NO ethanol, NO animal base materials, NO mineral oils.

These picture are taken from Innisfree's Website
click to get the larger image, thank you :)

*These images are supposed to be together in one length page, but i separated them. I think they're still fine, but if you want to read in the original size, you can go directly to innisfree's website, i've put the link above.*

Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask are contains of Volcanic Ashes from Jeju Island in Korea, and enriched by Scoria and Green Complex. Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask is recommended if you : concerned about your pores, blackheads and sebum, and also think that your make up are getting cakey and your skin is uneven and dull. Me and some friends has just found out that is mask also work well in drying acne. This is a must have things, so many function and so easy to use! It's also good for oily, normal and dry skin type because it doesn't tightening your skin so much, you'll enjoy it everytime you use it.

Innisfree also said that Volcanic Cluster is the only week base (whatever that is) resources which is similar to human's blood. This volcanic cluster can only be found in Jeju Island, Korea. It's a pure ingredients that contains no (almost no, i think) impurities

Another things i loved from Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask is their packaging. Sooo simple, cute, easy to use and the best is soo natural. They use recycled paper for the box, tamra (jeju) paper for labelling and recyclable & low  carbon generating light-weightened containers. Yes, it's soo light weightened!

Well, this is mine :

This is the full size one. Came in 100ml size, in a light-weight jar.

The Seal

It's contains 300-mg of something i can't read. Maybe someone can help me? :)

Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask also has a plastic separator. Nice and help you to keep product from getting too much air.

Swatch on my hand.

I know it's so not important because it's a mask where color doesn't meant anything but, this is the product, the consistency and texture.
In my opinion, the texture is a quite creamy for a clay mask, makes it easy to spread (i'm not complaining). My nose almost undetect any smell from it, you'll only able to smell it if you put your nose directly in front of the jar. You can't smell anything while it's on your face.
It's won't drying your face except you leave small amount of product in open air and use it. Since it doesn't drying your face, it wouldn't crack like another clay mask, you can easily speak while wearing this, and it means even you have dry skin, you can still use it! So nice!

Ingredients (taken from Rachel's Website) :

Water, butilrengeulrayikol, titanium dioxide, silica, glycerin, Caprylic / CAP Rick triglycerides, trehalose, ash (Jeju volcanic clusters), seteahrilalkool, Rick cliff stability, seed, glycerol stearate, Lille, bentonite, zinc oxide, polysorbate 60, green tea extract, citrus peel extracts, fruit extracts saboten Western blossom extract, mineral water (Jeju volcanic groundwater), bamboo extract, samnamuipchuchulmul, cacao seed extract, polyvinyl alcohol, kaolin, The four two nucleotide hydro vegetable oil, dextrin, pibeuyipi, PEG -100 stearate, sorbitan stearate, selrulroohseugeom, xanthan gum, carbon tetra sodium pyro phosphate, disodyumyiditieyi, echilheksilgeulriserin, Phenoxyethanol, red iron oxide.

How-To-Use :

  1.  Wash your face using cleansing foam
  2. Use toner all over your face for better result
  3. Gently spread the clay mask over entire face (avoiding eyes & mouth) especially paying attention to blemished areas
  4. Wash off with warm water after 20-30 minutes, it wont tighten your face as i said above, so put attention with the time

Use it 1-2 times a week, could be use in blemished area only all over the night (don't use any other skincare, except toner, between your blemish and the clay mask.

i wouldn't say that this is an amazing clay mask that will always work everytime and for everytime. I'm failed about 20% from my total usage, sometimes it won't take my blackhead, sometimes it won't dry my acnes. And for my sister's face (who's rarely using skincare, any skincare, you name it) it won't work at 2 first time until it's done it's job.

But, it's so much better than another clay mask i have : it's able to clean my blackhead, help me to drying my acnes, reducing some of my redness, quite moisturizing and makes my face look brighter. Really-really clean my blackhead without any pain. What a life (☆▽☆)

Overall, i love it and will definately repurchase! ^^

p.s :  even if it's works on me and some of people around me, maybe it wont work for you. Another people trash could be your treasure but another people's treasure could be your trash.

Take Care and Thanks for Reading! :)
